VANNATTER, Jean Isabelle. – Passed away peacefully at Caressant Care, Courtland on Monday January 2, 2017 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of 50 years of the late Austin Arnold Vannatter (2004). Dear mother of Marie and Brian Buckrell, Barb and Dave Flanagan, Arnold and Karen Vannatter, John and Nancy Vannatter. Loved grandmother of Heather (Richard), Tammy (Jason), Randy, Karen (Phil), Greg (Meredith), Crystal (Ziad), Cody (Karly), Brandon (Courtney), Devin, Joseph (Amy), Kristie (Juan) and great grandmother of; Jack, Sarah, Austin, Hazel, Josh, Justin, Henry, Reese, Ilianna, Daphne, Evie, Piper and Tharrin. Dear sister of Jim Lupton, Mary McWilliam and sister-in-law to Marjorie Insom and is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.  Predeceased by her parents Innes and Emma Lupton, by her brothers Dave and Alex, by her sisters; Marion, Betty and Joyce and by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.  Jean spent her life as a farmer, home maker and factory worker. After her retirement she became an avid quilter and Lioness. Friend are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Saturday January 7, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the First Nairn Cemetery, Ailsa Craig, ON. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
