A teenaged speed demon is going to be walking for the next few days.
The Perth County OPP says on New Year’s Day an officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 23 in North Perth. A vehicle went by that the radar clocked at 169 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
The 17-year-old driver, who’s from North Perth, was charged with racing. On top of that his driver’s licence and the vehicle were both seized for a week.
