Part of Downie Street closed next week

There’s going to be another road closure downtown next week.

Downie Street between Brunswick and George will be open to local traffic only starting on Tuesday. The city says the closure is expected to last until Thursday.

It’ll only be in place during the day and the road will be reopened at night. The closure is needed so crews can work on watermain connections for the Market Square redevelopment project.
