Perth County OPP responds to 26 crashes in 24 hours

The Perth County OPP says yesterday’s storm kept officers busy. They responded to 26 crashes in the span of 24 hours.

The OPP is reminding people to adjust their driving habits to the winter road and weather conditions. The OPP says the number one cause of crashes in the winter is people driving too fast.

They’re encouraging you to leave lots of space between yourself and other cars and to give yourself more time to get to where you need to be. The OPP says you need to avoid sudden braking, accelerating or steering as well.
