PED spreads to two more farms

Yet another two more cases of PED have popped up in the region.

Finisher operations in Bruce and Huron were hit with the nasty virus last Friday.

Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea has now wormed its way on to 47 pig farms in Ontario including six in Perth, seven in Huron and nine in Oxford County.

PED is not contagious to humans and it does not impact meat quality.
