The Grand River Conservation Authority is cancelling a flood warning for New Hamburg.
Last night’s rain was mostly confined to the southerly portions of the watershed, sparing the Nith River from flooding.
However with temperatures hitting the low teens by Thursday a good part of the remaining snowpack is expected to melt.
The GRCA is keeping an eye on things and will issue any updates as needed.
