13 charged during Festive R.I.D.E campaign in Huron County

The Huron County OPP has released the results of its annual Festive R.I.D.E campaign.

Officers ran 264 checkpoints during the month and a half long blitz, the most in the region. In total five people were given warn range suspensions and another eight were charged with other impaired related offenses.

The OPP believes the increased number of checkpoints and police visibility during the campaign played a part in keeping Huron County roadways safe from drunk and high drivers.
