Six new charges have been laid against Elizabeth Wettlaufer.
The OPP says four counts of attempted murder and two counts of aggravated assault have been added to the eight counts of first degree murder the former nurse is already facing.
She’s answering the new charges in court in Woodstock today. Four are related to patients at Caressant Care in Woodstock, one at a private home in Oxford County and the other at Telfer Place in Brant County.
Wettlaufer is accused of killing eight patients of two long-term care homes in Woodstock and London. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Woodstock Police at 1-519-537-2323 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
