A woman is dead after a two vehicle collision this morning near Tavistock.
Oxford County OPP says the crash happened before 8:00am on Highway 59. The woman was driving one of the vehicles, while a male driver from the other vehicle was ambulanced to a local hospital.
Highway 59 is closed between Oxford Road 34 and Cassel Sideroad. The Maplewood Sideroad has also been closed in the area.
Police ask drivers to avoid the area while they investigate.
