The Avon Maitland District School Board has approved its revised 2016-2017 budget.
The board’s total expected revenue has gone up by nearly $14.5 million from the original budget approved back in June. The board says most of that increase is from the Ministry of Education’s investment in School Condition Improvement and School Renewal funding.
The revised budget totals just over $201 million. The board also approved the capital budget of just under $21 million.
It passed the new budget at its meeting last night.
