The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board has a new trustee.
Mary Helen Van Loon has been named trustee for Perth South, West Perth, and St. Marys. She’s replacing Bernard Murray who passed away.
The board says Van Loon has a breadth of experience in the school system and a deep commitment to the Catholic faith. Five candidates in total were interviewed.
