The OPP says it needs more women.
To help with that goal there’s going to be a one-day policing symposium at Fanshawe College in London. The OPP says the day will include things like an overview of the hiring process, mentoring by officers and civilians and work-life balance.
The symposium is happening on March 11th but you have to apply ahead of time. You can find the application at the OPP’s website. It has to be submitted by February 15th.
