The Perth District Health Unit is launching its new Strategic Plan.
The plan outlines three areas that the PDHU will be focusing on over the next two years. Those are advocating for public health, preparing for a possible health system change, and continuing to focus on the social causes and factors that play into health and health equity.
Dr. Miriam Klassen, Perth’s Medical Officer of Health, says the plan is important because overarching strategies help the health unit meet local needs. You can see a copy of the PDHU’s Strategic Plan at its website.
