House of Blessing axes some programs to focus on others

The Stratford House of Blessing says it’ll be focused on three areas over the next three years. They’re the food bank, children, and clothing.

This comes after Stratford Perth Community Foundation funding helped pay for the House of Blessing’s Strategic Planning Project. The conclusion of the project was that the House of Blessing could move away from some things to better focus on programs that hit those three areas.

Things that didn’t make the cut are the furniture program, the “Cooking on a Budget” and “Home With a Heart” classes.
