Iva Veletta Brown, age 92, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Hillside Manor. Born in Tara Township, daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (MacEwen) Barfoot. Predeceased by her loving husband Jack Brown July 16, 2006. Survived by her granddaughters Lorie Hoffmeyer-Macklin and husband Harvey and Stacy Hunt and husband Gary. Iva will be remembered by her brother Chauncey Barfoot and her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Iva was predeceased by her daughter Lynda Hoffmeyer and brothers Stewart, Albert and Eldon Barfoot. Family and friends may call at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Avondale Cemetery.
