Uniforms coming to St. Mike’s

There’s a big change coming to St. Michael Catholic Secondary School. Students will soon be forced to wear uniforms.

The Huron-Perth Catholic Board approved the change at Monday’s meeting. The board says the decision comes after public consultation highlighted the need to support marginalized students and that uniforms help students feel included regardless of financial status.

The other high school in the board, St. Anne’s in Clinton, already requires its students to wear uniforms.
