Former West Perth man to be sentenced for fraud next month

A former West Perth man will be sentenced for fraud next month.

A report in the Beacon Herald says Jody Eidt pleaded guilty to eight counts of fraud over $5,000 last month in a Stratford court. His mortgage investment scheme cost people more than $1.2 million.

Eidt’s victims included friends and family from West Perth. He used to work for SRF Financial in Hamilton. Eidt is scheduled to be sentenced in Stratford on April 20th.
