It’s that time of the year: tax season.
The Canada Revenue Agency is accepting returns so if you’ve got all your documents together you can submit yours. Paul Murphy with the CRA says using a computer can make filing much less of a hassle:
He adds you also need to be careful because scammers are out in full force during tax season:
Murphy says there are some deductions you shouldn’t forget like medical expenses, which include traveling more than 40km for a medical need. The deadline to submit your taxes is May 1st. For those who are self-employed it’s June 15th.
