A wind warning is in effect for the southern parts of Perth and Huron counties.
That includes the Stratford area. Environment Canada says we’ll get gusts up to 90 km/h that will start to diminish this evening.
The agency says wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk the wind can cause damage. Local power outages are a possibility as well. The strong wind gusts may also make for some difficult driving conditions.
