City facilities open to the public on World Water Day

Ever wonder where your water comes from?

The City of Stratford Environment Services Department wants to show you. It’s celebrating World Water Day on March 22nd.

The city’s water facilities will be open to the public that day with tours available.  Here is a list of tour times for that day:

-Tour of Romeo Street Pumping Station (Water Supply) 39 Romeo St. S. 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
-Tour of Water Pollution Control Plant (Wastewater Treatment) 701 West Gore St. 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
-Open House at Vivian Street Pumping Station (Wastewater Collection) 362 Romeo Street N. 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
-Open House at Forman Water Tower (Water Distribution) 430 Forman Ave. 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
