New website uses data to track community’s well-being

A new way of tracking our community’s well-being has launched. It’s called myPerthHuron.

The website has been put together by the United Way’s Social Research and Planning Council and the University of Waterloo. It tracks things like education levels, voter engagement, housing statistics, living standards and environmental data.

That information can be used for things like figuring out what demographics will help your start-up venture succeed or learning how transportation and income challenges may affect your health.

Right now you can see the beta version of the website, and give feedback on it, by following this link.
