Ag retailer wins $15,000 for hospice fund

A local business has won $15,000 for a charitable cause.

Huron Perth Ag Service Inc. in Woodham is one of four winners of ADAMA Canada’s inaugural #ThankARetailer contest.

The contest kicked off in November. It was designed to highlight companies that make outstanding contributions to their communities.

Over 220,000 votes were cast for 52 nominees. Huron Perth Ag Service will be donating the prize money to the Jessica’s House residential hospice building fund.
