Charges have been laid after a Stratford man ran from police. It happened Saturday afternoon after they got a call about a possible impaired driver.
The driver was stopped in the Whitelock and McNab area at which point police say he ran through backyards on McNab in an attempt to get away. He was eventually arrested without incident.
The police say breath samples showed the man was more than double the legal limit. The man’s licence was already suspended because of an impaired driving conviction back in January.
