Movement is being made on the new Tom Patterson Theatre.
At a recent meeting the Stratford Festival gave an update on the project to local stakeholders. Attendees were shown designs for the new theatre, which is going to be built where the old Tom Patterson Theatre currently stands.
Reports say negotiations are still ongoing between the Festival, the city, and The Optimist Hall. The Festival is also looking for funding from both the provincial and federal governments and hopes to begin construction in October.
