Elevated water levels, no major flooding expected

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority says this rain is going to make area water levels rise.

Levels are expected to continue to rise today as between 30 and 45 mm of rain falls. The UTRCA says it’s not expecting any serious flooding but water could spill into low lying areas if we get the higher amounts of rain.

Water levels are expected to stay elevated into early next week. As always be careful around area waterways and keep children and pets away from them.
