74 City of Stratford employees make Sunshine List

A total of 74 City of Stratford employees are on this year’s Sunshine List. Released today by the Ontario government it’s the list of public employees in the province who make at least $100,000 a year.

Most of the city employees who are on it, 65 altogether, are either police officers or firefighters. Police chief Mike Bellai’s salary last year was $175,499.09 and fire chief John Paradis made $141,069.62

Other notable public employee salaries in our area were MPP Randy Pettapiece’s at $116,550, Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance President & CEO Andrew Williams’ $294,859.62 and Perth District Health Unit Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen’s $319,142.03.
