St. Marys Library accepting entries for annual poetry contest

The St. Marys Public Library is calling all writers.

It’s looking for entries for its James MacRae Poetry Contest. The contest is named after the pseudonym of John James MacDonald, a well-known local poet and library patron who retired in St. Marys in 1875.

There are two categories this year, general and Canada 150. Poems have to be in by April 26th. You can find more details on how to enter the James MacRae Poetry Contest at the Town of St. Marys website.
