The Perth County OPP will be out in force this Easter Weekend.
They’re taking part in a province-wide seat belt campaign. The OPP says seat belt-related deaths hit a 20 year low in Ontario last year with only 45.
The OPP says the downward trend can be attributed, in part, to its Provincial Traffic Safety Program. The PTSP is a proactive approach to traffic safety enforcement and education that focuses on high-risk driving behaviours.
