‘Train Dreams’ draws large crowds

A new exhibit with a local angle opened at Gallery Stratford this weekend.

The almost hypnotic display ‘Train Dreams’ pulled in large crowds yesterday.

It explores the role of the railway in our history and culture with a dream-like combination of music, images and video.

Four Stratford artists collaborated on the project.

Simon Brothers was one of them.

He says his grandfather was a big influence on the exhibit.

He says his grandfather’s archives are what convinced them to tackle the project.

Brothers says the shots from inside the Cooper Site are especially haunting.
