Baseball hall approves big expansion

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is looking to update its facilities. Its board of directors has approved an $850,000, 2500 sq. foot expansion.

The Hall of Fame says the expansion will increase its storage and curatorial work space as well as establish a library and research centre. It’ll also include updates to the exhibition spaces including the inductee plaques.

A federal grant and money from the Hall’s capital reserve fund will pay for the project. Construction is expected to begin at the end of this year.
