The Huron Residential Hospice has launched its 2-million dollar Moments Matter campaign.
The hospice says the campaign kicked off with record-breaking attendance at the annual Hike for Hospice. More than 20-thousand dollars was raised in pledges.
The campaign looks to create a four-bed hospice in Central Huron and bring all the services for hospice care under one roof.
Campaign Chair Gwen Devereaux says before the campaign officially launched, 300-thousand dollars was already raised.
