A public meeting on the impending closure of Hillside Manor will be held in June.
The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care will host the meeting at the Mitchell and District Community Centre starting at 12:30pm at June 20th.
Perth County Council is opposing the closure of Hillside Manor and will write a letter to the province and the Southwest LHIN to keep the long-term care beds local.
MPP Randy Pettapiece is also speaking out on the issue and says it would be devastating to lose more beds in Perth-Wellington.
