The Cooper Block in downtown Stratford continues to be the preferred location for City Hall’s pursuit of the Grand Trunk Community Hub.
However before council makes any decision on the massive project, the public will be consulted extensively over the next few months.
Details of the public consultation process will be posted on the city’s website.
The hub would have multi-uses and council also wants residents to suggest what it should look like.
Council will be asking the feds and province to help pay for the hub and funding applications are expected to go out this fall.
