The leader of the Stratford Summer Music is preparing to pass the torch.
John Miller founded the festival in 2001 and will pass the reigns over to a new artistic leader in 2019.
Miller says the festival is in great shape with the finest musicians eager to appear.
Miller says the finances are solid and there’s a long-term stability fund in place.
Succession planning will begin this fall.
Next year will be Miller’s last active season before he takes on an advising role. This year’s season runs July 17th to August 27th.
