Alleged Impaired Driver Charged

A Seaforth woman is facing a criminal charge after a complaint to police.

Huron County OPP was tipped off about a possible impaired driver on Saturday.

Police stopped the vehicle in the area of Chalk and Duke streets.  Police say the smell of alcohol was on the woman’s breath and she failed a roadside test.

The 62-year-old is charged with impaired driving.

Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle has been impounded for a week.

She appears in court July 10th.
