People in Stratford needing a C-T Scan will soon have access to one in Perth County.
The 2-million dollar piece of equipment is installed in Listowel Memorial Hospital.
The hospital says staff are being trained on the machine and the C-T scanner will ready for patients to use later this month.
After several months, the hospital hopes to train enough staff to offer scans 24-hours a day.
The Listowel-Wingham Hospital Alliance says the machine is a much-needed addition and will give people access to a C-T scan much closer to home.
