West Perth and Perth East have signed a Shared Fire Administration Services Agreement.
That means Bill Hunter is now the Fire Chief for both areas.
Hunter had been serving as interim chief for West Perth since December of last year.
West Perth and Perth East will also share a Fire Prevention Officer and an Administrative Assistant.
