Homelessness Survey in Perth county Yields Surprising Result

More than 70 individuals and families in Stratford and Perth County are homeless.

The social services department teamed up with other community groups in April to survey the homeless population.

Nearly 60 surveys were filled out.

The data shows the majority of homeless population are men and 17 respondents were under the age of 24.

Social services says the top barrier identified was physical health, followed by abuse and trauma.
