A Step in the Right Direction for Long-Term Care Beds

Randy Pettapiece is calling it a small step in the right direction.

The Minister of Health and Long-Term Care has extending the public consultation period on the impending closure of Hillside Manor in Mitchell.

The Perth-Wellington M-P-P say today was originally set as the deadline for public comments.

The ministry is holding a public meeting today at the Mitchell Community Centre from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

Pettapiece says a second meeting will be held in the evening, but there’s no word yet on a date.
