Local residents run in Boston Marathon

They are off and running in the Beantown.

Boston Marathon participants began their run at 8:30AM this morning.

A number of local residents are taking part.

They include Gerry and Adam Thuss and Peter Hansford from Stratford, Paula Muxlow of St Marys, Tyler Natywary of Mitchell and Pete Wilson from Listowel.

Security is tight after two pressure cooker bombs went off last year at the Boston Marathon’s finish line.
