Celebrity Citizens Honored

The City of Stratford is recognizing four citizens who have made their mark on the country.

Actors Colm Feore, Megan Follows, Rod Beattie and NHLer Howie Morenz will all receive the Bronze Star this weekend.

The award was created in 2002 to recognize Stratford citizens that have gained a national or international following.

Stratford Festival organizers will also use this ceremony to recognize the people who have made major contributions to the event.

The Canada Day celebrations kick off at noon in Market Square and the Bronze Stars will be presented at 1:20pm.
