HPHA program getting positive exposure

A Huron Perth Health Care Alliance program is getting some good exposure.

The organization’s Unit Action Councils were recently highlighted by the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement.

Dianne Gaffney is the Corporate Lead for Professional Practice at the HPHA.

She gives us the rundown on what the UAC’s are:

The councils have led to a number of improvements, including reducing the waiting time for chemotherapy patients to get their blood work back from up to three hours to up to 20 minutes.
