National Immunization Awareness Week

Recent outbreaks of measles and whooping cough in Canada prove the necessity and importance of vaccinations.

Completely preventable diseases like the two just mentioned are resurfacing because people aren’t keeping themselves or their children safe with up to date vaccines.

With that in mind, next week is National Immunization Awareness Week.

For more information about immunizations, contact the Perth District Health Unit at (519) 271-7600 or go to its website.

You can also visit the CPHA website.
