If you live in Stratford, you can get rid of your hazardous waste this week and your yard waste next week.
You can drop off the hazardous waste at the city landfill site but the yard waste will be picked up at the curb.
Ed Dujlovic with the City of Stratford says there’s one item of yard waste they don’t accept anymore.

He says it will begin on Monday and run throughout the summer.

Dujlovic says they’ll even take your Christmas tree if it’s still sitting out there.

You must drop off your hazardous waste at the Stratford landfill by the end of Saturday.
