As summer heats up the Perth County OPP is making sure drivers are sharing the road with bicycles and cyclists are obeying the rules of it.
Police say even texting while cycling can have the same impact as if you’re behind the wheel.
The OPP has seen an increase in collisions and injuries because of it.
Make sure you have reflectors on your bicycle, you’re wearing a helmet and most importantly you’re properly signalling when travelling along main roads.
School is out in Stratford and that means more kids will be out on bicycles, scooters and skateboards.
