Stratford Police Say Lock it or Lose it After Series of Car Thefts

Stratford Police are reminding you to lock it or lose it as a number of vehicles have been broken into in the city.

Inspector Sam Theocharis says about a dozen vehicles have been broken into since last Friday.

Stratford police are still investigating the crimes of opportunity, as so far only vehicles left unlocked have been victim to theft.

It comes as local police responded to 70 calls for service in a 24-hour period between Wednesday and Thursday.
