Perth County Sharing Information on Emergency Management and Preparedness

Perth County is stepping up its education, making sure you know where to look, what to watch and what to do in the case of an emergency.

It comes as a tornado reportedly touched down near Lucan on Wednesday night.

Alternate Community and Emergency Management Coordinator Allan Rothwell says preparation is important and the county website has a number of features to help you do just that.

Rothwell says seniors in particular who require assistance, may be immobile or need extra support are also considered in the county’s emergency plan.
