Streak of Vandalism Raises Red Flags with Stratford Police

Stratford Police say input from the community often helps in ways residents may not understand, especially in reporting suspicious activity.

Inspector Sam Theocharis says there were 19 calls of vandalism reported in the south side of the city from Wednesday to Friday morning.

Vandals reportedly fired pellet guns at homes and defaced a number of public mailboxes.

Theocharis says neighbourhood watch groups also play a role in conveying information along with discouraging theft and vandalism.

He says local police have also been dealing with a series of thefts from vehicles and is reminding you to lock it or lose it.
