Workers who have been killed or injured on the job will be remembered today.
The annual Day of Mourning ceremony will take place this morning at the Upper Queen’s Park band shell.
The event honors workers who died from unsafe work environments and cultures.
Guest speakers include Unifor Health & Safety Co-Ordinator Ken Bondy and Mayor Dan Mathieson, with music provided by Steve “Yeager” Adair.
The ceremony begins at 10:30AM this morning.
