The Wynne Government announced last week it will drop the debt retirement charge next year from your hydro bills.

The Perth-Wellington MPP says the Liberal government has collected $11.6 billion to retire a $7.8 billion debt.
Pettapiece adds that the government will also cancel the Clean Energy Benefit that saved consumers 10 per cent off their hydro bills.
He says the average family will still pay an extra $115 each year when the changes are in place.
